Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS) ​

Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS) is a flexible, fast and fully managed push notification service. SNS simplifies and saves transferred data to mobile devices such as iPhone, iPad, Android, Kindle Fire and Internet-connected smart devices and also transfer to other distributed services.

In addition to sending cloud notifications directly to mobile devices, SNS can also send notifications via SMS or email, to Simple Queue Service (SQS) queues or any other HTTP endpoint.

All messages posted on Amazon SNS are stored redundantly in multiple Availability Zones to avoid losing messages.
